Youth Centric Safety Agenda
We closely worked with teachers, students and their parents, interacting, teaching, empowering and spreading awareness on road safety as a part of our Youth Centric Safety Agenda. The Youth Centric Safety Agenda is to reach out to all the children and youth of our country, as well as globally, with the mission to inculcate Road-Safe behaviour and make road safety a way of life.
Various fun learning activities like drawing, craft, dance, plays, music, road rallies along with the conventional style of learning on road safety were adopted to increase student involvement and participation. Pre and Post assessment of knowledge, attitude and practices were conducted. Upon completion of the three-year project, there was a considerable drop in road injuries to these school children.
Pedestrian Safety at Abbott Nutrition
Another Pedestrian Safety event was successfully conducted in school by SucceedSafe near the manufacturing plant of Abbott Nutrition, in Jhagadia, Gujarat.
SucceedSafe requests corporates under their road safety initiatives to partner with us to reach out to the youth for this cause. The projects include activity-based learnings incorporating safer road habits. Our Road Safety sessions are engaging and fun for the children, at the same time emphasise on the seriousness of adhering to these safety measures. School projects under Road Safety include identifying unsafe conditions in the neighbourhood. Roads, walkways and other infrastructure that causes hindrance/injury to these students are identified jointly with the schools. Technical support on adopted roads is provided and shared with road authorities. Reaching out to the local municipal authorities in conducting the necessary repairs & modifications will go a long way in reducing injuries to these children.
